Gotta love this kid's attitude.  Welcome to the show!

“I am someone who will compete on the floor for you every night. I will play my heart out for Marquette, I can promise you that.” ~DJO

Does this kid know that we won't be running a three guard rotation anymore?  The article made it sound like that was a big reason he chose Marquette.

I'm sure buzz will run whatever his personnel dictates.

From listening to him, it doesn't sound like Buzz even believes in traditional labels for player positions.

It's pretty apparent to me that Buzz' system is probably a PG, 3 SF types, and a big, but it is clear from the outset here that what he values most is versatility, and the ability to mix/match lineups based on our opponents.  DJO gives us the ability to play small with a lot of depth now.  We can also go big if we want to.  Don't think this has anything to do with 3G lineups or any of that, just personnel.  And if this year is any indicator, Buzz is not averse to playing up tempo.

3 SF?  We'll have 5 guards on the roster next year.
