I thought there was no way MSU could be ranked above us.... I am wrong... AGAIN!

Pretty shocked to see MSU stay in front of us.  Oh well.

Win on Wednesday and no one doubts anything.

Missouri definitely belongs in the top ten because they beat KU.

This sucks.  We are treated like we are a mid major.

Yes it really is an abomination that we are ranked 10th instead of 9th or 8th.

How dare they disrespect us!

We win at G'town, a team in desperate need of a win, and still are behind MSU?!?!?  They got manhandled by a Purdue team that still doesn't have a healthy Robbie Hummel.

Five of top 10 are Big East.

Thoughts on Memphis being No. 4?

They are 2-2 against the BEast (wins at Seton Hall & at home vs Cincy; losses at GU and at home vs 'Cuse). Outside of those games they beat Tennessee by 2, Gonzaga by 18 and lost to Xavier.

They have won 18 in a row which is impressive until you realize they are the playing in a league comparable to a 6th grade rec league. I struggle to believe that this team  lead by a freshman and a bunch of role players is the fourth best team in the country.

That is so awesome.  I love this conference.

I firmly believe that Memphis will never deserve a #1 seed as long as they play in that crap league

West Virginia is #27 and Syracuse is #28. That puts a total of 7 Big East Teams in the Top 30 with 5 in the Top 10.

That's just ridiculous. One half of the top 10 (50%) from one conference? And nearly one quarter of the Top 30 (23.33%)?

The AP...now THAT'S a poll!

We deserve to be ahead of Mizzou and MSU.  UNC ahead of Memphis makes sense, too.

I wonder how high Memphis can climb by just not losing.  Even before conference tournaments start there is a chance for the the teams ahead of them to suffer a loss.

I think Memphis is totally over rated.  They dominate in a crap conference.  As mentioned above, when they face middle of the pack talent of good conferences ('Cuse, Gtown) they lose, or they will barely beat Gonzaga or lose to a still solid Xavier team.  Unbelievable that they can get up to #4!  They and Michigan State need to actually play top 25 teams and win, then maybe I'll give them some credit, but until then you can forget about it!

WE ARE MARQUETTE!!!

Agreed. The Michigan State love in the Coaches' poll is baffling. I guess it goes with the name b/c the conference is garbage this year.

I think the only reason MSU is ahead of MU is because they still remember the whipping Izzo put on Crean when he was here.
