We played well today...

Did anyone see Crean go crazy near the end of the game?  He was as excited as the rest of the players.  Everyone was so relaxed.  This is what we need to get ready for Nova, and G-Town.

We are Marquette!

Let's start by bringing that swagger and style with us to Nova.  That was fun to watch, it was like a party on the bench, Crean was jumping around too, it was funny to see him get uncontrollably giddy, then try to maintain his composure.  Granted, Rutgers has a putrid BEast record, but they did beat Nova, @Pitt and lost to ND by 3.

We did not play well the first 10 minutes of the game. We looked like we did at West Virginia. It was almost 10 minutes in the game before Rutgers had its first turnover. After that we took over the game and dominiated the second half. We better bring intense defensive pressure right out of the gate agianst Villanova.

I thought we were alright in the first ten minutes...a few sloppy plays, but we weren't as bad as we were against WVU.  Rutgers had a surprisingly good start, and shots were falling for them.  It was back and forth for the most part of the beginning of the game.

Then yeah, second half, we destroyed them.

Neither team was getting defensive stops much in the beginning of the game - Rutgers was scoring a lot inside etc.  We had some good moments in the first half , but figured them out at half time and really blew then away big time.  Second half was fun to watch.....I missed Crean getting giddy  :(
