Gladiators to Gondolas MU Sponsored Cruise
« on: December 02, 2022, 10:18:07 AM »
Received the Gladiators to Gondolas Cruise info pamphlet in the mail yesterday.
Looks like it could be a great cruise.
Has MU sponsored cruises in the past?
If so, how were other people's experiences with them?

I know they have sponsored tours led by professors in that field.  I don't know anyone who has taken them.

I took a cruise last summer that hit most of those ports (it was a fraction of what they are charging here, though). Let me know if you want any recommendations for excursions, etc.
Have some patience, FFS.

They do a lot of these - as do many larger schools. The travel company partners with Marquette, and the Alumni Association gets a cut. (Which is likely why it is more expensive.)

Sure, that would be great.  You can send to me through the MUScoop Message, if you feel that is the best way.

I think they did one with the Italian basketball trip under Wojo. Big Daddy was in attendance, iirc.

Don't expect that ship to dock in Venice.  You'll have to take a tender, a train, or motorboat from Marghera.
