Having no expectations and assuming we’ll fittingly play the role of underdog well has lowered my BP and allowed me to watch these games and really enjoy experiencing these guys defy the odds.
Well done- and, wow.

In both our games the team playing offense on the left hoop (on screen) has lit it up. It might just be where the microphones are, but shots on the other (right hoop) rim sound like they are clanking on the playground double rims.

Almost 100% assuredly is a coincidence and an artifact of where the microphones are, but if there is a way we can play both halves on that hoop, I'd take it.

But did we score more than 50 against a quality team?

Thought we gave up a lot of pretty open layups in relatively big moments. Thankfully WVU was rattled and missed them, which I’m sure had to do with the press and Kur at the rim.

Beyond that it was a nearly flawless second half. Particularly enjoyed Kam’s four quick threes. He is going to be fun to watch.

WVA has a senior laden, experienced team. And down the stretch they looked gassed and tentative. Our mostly young team looked fresh, poised and FEARLESS. This is fun.

I was thinking the exact same thing, Lenny. I said to Mrs. 82, “Huggy’s team is draggin’!” I think that happens when your soul has been stolen!!

The other thing that really stood out to me - and tower mentioned it - is that our heroes did this despite getting bupkis from the guy who had carried us through 4 games. Very impressive responses by TK and Kam, especially. We really needed someone to step up, and they did.

A very positive sign going forward.

Had a dinner I had to go to, so watched on delay.

Good God this team is fun. Loved Greg out there, he made WV honest on a few that opened up the floor for Kam. O-Max big on the  boards.

That's the Kolek I thought we were getting.

Love to see a young team imposing itself down the stretch on a senior-laden WV team.

Dunno if it is a country road, but Shaka definitely has this team on the right path.

They gathered the money to pay for it… like MU does with almost every other non-routine venture.

I wouldn't phrase it this way.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

The rest of the Big East are gonna despise Kolek for the next three seasons aren’t they?

“He’s still there…?”
Hope so
Isn't that what many of us said about Gillespie and before him Diefendork
About time we get to do that to the other teams.

I had a commitment so have not watched yet. Brewing coffee and about to watch. This is awesome. Did Shaka dance across the floor as they sang?

Really think Huggy screwed up not taking a TO during MU's 13-0 run.

Oso looks very fast.

His move last night from the 3point line to the near layup (ended with a charge) was two long steps for him. It was almost Giannis like.

Talk about an improvement.

Small sample size, but I’d say Oso has a bit of a natural feel for the game.  Of all the guys not part of the current top 3, I think he’s the most intriguing guy on the roster

He’s quite crafty.  Many fathers would love him to come over for dinner with their daughters.

He really reminds me of Diener !!!! (Teal)

Digging slightly deeper in the comparison bag, he’s brought to mind Jason Williams after he ditched the And1 mixtape game. Always finding the right pass, looking to pass first, pushes the fast break with a killer pass, but a capable scorer.
