We need these last few games, give us a little push going into the BE Tourney and to turn our season around.

I think so, maybe get a win in the BE tourney and it is almost certain. But we have to focus on the next game

Seriously, you expect MU to beat X, will not happen. St. Johns, maybe, they are way to athletic for MU.  Creighton, doubt it.  Can never duplicate what MU did down
there, will not happen.  Providence there, no chance.  I see MU losing the rest of there games.  1-4 is possible.

I think 3-2 is enough to get us to Dayton considering the current landscape (an important consideration not all here look at). A win in the BET may get us out of the first four.

At this point, 4-1 or 3-2 seems like a stretch, unfortunately, but I know this team can do it.

The one thing that's come out of the Top-16 being released is how much too 50 wins matter. Going 3-2 would get us at least one more. Is Providence top 50? Beating Xavier once and Creighton would put us in good shape with another win.

ETA: nothing over the last few games has given me hope we can do that. However, there's still a possible path.

Wow, what Kool-aide are most of you drinking?  3-2 would be way over-performing.  More likely 2-3.  1-4 would be disappointing.  0-5,  after watching us have 0 answer for Gtown, I don't see how you can count that out.   :-\

Not even kool-aide [sic]. Statistically, per Ken Pomeroy, Marquette is expected to land at 9-9. That can change if we continue under performing, but lets start with beating Xavier - which is a 55% chance :)

Can't imagine what it would be like if MU went 1-9 following a victory over #1 Nova.............

I HOPE it doesn't happen, and I recognize the percentages are against it happening, but can you honestly say it isn't a realistic possibility?  Who are you so certain that we beat, or is it just a "we have so many good shooters we have to have ONE high scoring game" thought?  After Gtown shut us down from 3 I lack that confidence.

Doubt it. I don't see a way into the tournament without a miracle. Even going 3-2 is going to be rough.

I hate these comments, because they're just flat out wrong. Maybe you think it'd be a miracle for MU to go 3-2 in the final 5. If that's your argument, so be it. I can't argue that the past 5 games have changed my outlook on this team and season, but IF MU finds a way to get to 3-2, no miracles are going to be necessary for MU to get in. Under .500 power conference teams are going to dance. I promise you that.

That said, a corner needs to be turned on Saturday.
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

If you saw Creighton happening a few weeks ago and Nova happening the very next game, these remarks about what you see happening in the future have credence. If not, you're just another speculator ... and another Scooper who doesn't know the difference between "there," "their" and "they're" ... not to mention "to," "too" and "two."

If we beat Xavier and Creighton in those 3 I think that'll help but still not lock. Get to 10 would be almost a lock.
Goal is National Championship

Beating Marquette and Creighton would give MU 4 wins over the top 20 RPI. That's gotta be as good as anyone on the bubble. The only other conference that has that many top 20 RPI teams is the ACC so Marquette should have as good of opportunities as anyone on the bubble.
