Anybody see Lazar play last night?
« on: October 23, 2010, 09:49:02 AM »
Looks like he got the homecoming playing time:

23 min
3-9 fg
2-6 3fg
0-0 ft
6 reb (2 0ff)
3 assists
4 fouls
1 to
8 pts

How did he look?  In the mpls paper he says he felt like a 'lost puppy' going to the PRO locker room instead of MU's.

He looked like he played hard and made some hustle plays that got coaches excited, but I still have doubts he can play at the NBA level.

Side-note: I was upset I couldn't visit a friend in section 206 until the timeout according to the usher. I felt better when DJO and Jimmy B got denied, also. Guy had no idea who they were.

I was at the game...he looks to me like he is adjusting pretty well to his new role as a 2/3.  He played pretty good D on CDR or Delfino and it was cool to see him play almost the entire 4th qtr. and all of the overtime. He also was open enough to put up 6 attempts from 3-point land.  This could lead to some big scoring nights if he gets the minutes.  No lack of hustle, as expected.  Six rebounds in 23 minutes from a 2/3 has got to make the coaches happy.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.
