Don't forget non-American's like the British Royal Family.

Perhaps, but if there is a conspiracy to be found here, there’s absolutely zero chance that the royal family would be involved.  As bad as the fallout would be from a domestic conspiracy, if foreign nationals were involved, from our closest ally no less, it would be an international crisis.

Besides, I get the impression that there’s not much more that Prince Andrew could do that would actually be embarrassing to the Brits.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

I keep thinking of that scene in Godfather II - ex mafioso all set to spill the beans on the Corleone family. First, Michael shows up in the courtroom escorting the guy's Mother. He gets a sudden case of amnesia and after a visit from the Consiglieri assuring him his family will be taken care of IF - he dutifully kills himself. Does Epstein have anyone he wants "taken care of"? The Maxwell woman? A lot of powerful people are high fiving this suicide, that's for sure.

I think most decent people are celebrating this suicide as well. Most of us only wish he would have waited until after he was sentenced to life in prison before he did it.

34 indictments.  Can't prosecute a sitting president.

Suicide without a public trial and its humiliation was too good/easy for him. A long, drawn out trial to  humiliate all his buddies/co-conspirators would have been nice, too.

As I said, it would have been better if it had happened after the trial. But, unless the DoJ shuts it down (very possible, IMO), it will all still come out.

Come on, you're not trying hard enough.

Prince Andrew, 42, and 45 conspired together with the Deep State, to off Epstein.

It's obvious. Occam's razor.

This relies on the assumption that feeling shame was part of the mental makeup of the individual(s) in question. Decades of evidence suggest that's not the case.

Agreed, the very nature of their crimes implies that shame doesn't even enter the equation. Entirely about their power over others and belief in their own infallibility which shame could not crack

Whenever I get too far down a conspiracy rabbit hole, I try to remember that this is a country where the POTUS can't get a BJ in the Oval Office or hook up with a porn star on the sly without the whole world finding out about it.

I'd like to delve down the rabbit hole of 1 of those acts resulting in impeachment and 1 of those acts resulting in a Presidency win

Trump's one night stand with Story Daniels 10 years before he ran for president had the same effect on his election as Clinton's affairs from his years in Arkansas had on his - almost none.

What Clinton did with Monica Lewinsky is today text book sexual harassment - old, powerful man, young powerless woman in the workplace. Regardless, that's not what he was impeached for - I suggest you read the articles of impeachment. Among other things, lying under oath to a grand jury is serious stuff.

Necessary distractions to unearth and entertain, while the truly important ones remain buried. The carrot and the shtick.
Zenyatta has a lot....a lot... of ground to make up. She gets there from here she’d be a super horse......what’s this.....Zenyatta hooked to the grandstand side....Zenyatta flying on the outside....this....is...un-belieeeeeevable!...looked impossible at the top of the stretch...

Personal indiscretions where one or very few people truly want to keep it quiet is totally different than a group of individuals in which they all are incentivized to keep something quiet. It's not the size of the group its how firm is the collective motivation to keep it secret.

As an example, I'm read in on a classified program of which there are at least 150 people read in on it as well.....I have never even seen a whiff of the program out in the world despite the secret being known by a large group of people.

Yup.  One also has a blue dress with physical proof, the other accusation by a porn star that I believe is likely credible, but no proof at all other than he said she said.

The comparison of the two by some is not remotely accurate.

Likely because there's little public interest, public knowledge or public figures involved in said program. The suicide of Jeff Epstein has all of the above by the truckload.

Moreoever, the have killed Epstein or facilitated his suicide in custody would have required not only the involvement of operative types, but also "regular" people like jail officials, etc., the kind of people who are apt to have a few too many out on the town one night and spill the beans.

Not saying said conspiracies are impossible, just far less likely as some wish to believe.

Is there another reason Trump would have paid Stormy Daniels $130K?
