I usually go with Guinness, but decided to go the Irish Whiskey route this year.

Currently enjoying Bushmills 16 Year Single Malt.  So smooooooooooooooth....

Guinness with a half shot of blackberry schnapps. 

For just regular beer I'd chose Murphy's over any irish or irish sounding beer.

Hmmm, will have to give that a try. Did you have a draft or was it bottled/canned somewhere?

They just released it last week in 22 oz. bottles.

I'm a little scared off by the bombers from them. I've had three or four of them and they've all been hyper-carbonated.

Yeah, I'm not surprised, they've been having some issues on their production line with some of the automation and they aren't getting the filler programmed right.
