Unless there was another Jim Ganzer at MU, a MU 2013 grad.

Is he related to Mike Ganzer, 1979 grad?

You mean guys who used to post here but got fed up and left?    Sorry, man.   IWB has been the ultimate MU insider for a while.  He has made basketball in the Milwaukee area his life.    Just because you disagree with him doesn't change that.

IWB has some great info. No doubt. I'm just saying he missed the BW story. Nothing wrong with that as last time I checked this ain't about national security. It's a game.

Agreed.

Probably better described as "crybabies that couldn't accept criticism of the coach."

IWB knows his stuff. I do not know him personally, but cannot argue he knows MU ball.

Okay, lets clear this up at least. There was a Jim Gancer that was a 2013 Marquette grad, but the only thing he was ever "reliable" for during school was showing up to the party.

Sounds OK to me.

Sounds like a man you can count on for the important stuff.

My understanding of the Ganzers, the 1st Family of Marquette Message Boards (because Dodds doesn't have kids), is such:

Mike Ganzer is the famous Gato78.  He's an attorney in town.
Jim Ganzer played football in college but remained a huge MU Hoops fan, he's IWB.
Little Bro is their Little Brother.  Not sure what his username means.

He's a good guy though.  I'd rely on his beer recommendations but thanks for clarifying that for me I just assumed it was 2013 Jim because Zack Klupchak (also 2013) contributes to the site.

Truthfully, he has gone radio silent since making his call.

Where is IWB? He drops the big bomb and then he goes into hiding? Is he coming up with a plan to charge his premium subscribers more money next month?

If this all works out, IWB will look really good.  I hope for him that this works out or he looks equally as bad.
Seems like a likable enough guy from his posts.  Obviously he loves MU Hoops, so he is one of us and I'm pulling for IWB to come out of this looking really good.

I'm assuming he got slapped pretty hard on the hand after Monday's situation.  Probably best to lay low to preserve his sources for the future.

I noticed earlier this afternoon that Jim Ganzer (IWB) is at 999 tweets...could he be waiting for a big announcement for tweet #1,000?

Well, he's consistent.  I have absolutely no idea if he's right, but I'll give him credit for having the guts to stick with what he thinks he knows.

I hope he's right .... but at this point, there's only one direction for his credibility to go, so why not double down.
I don't subscribe to his site, so I don't care much either way, but if I did pay for his insight, I'd sure expect some explanation when all this is done.

When all of the backstories are told, he will be fine. The biggest problem with all of this is the leaking from the Athletic Department to guys who's job it is to disseminate the info. Plenty of others here know the entire story and are smart enough to just let it play out. Ganzer had a couple of guys telling him "done deal" because they thought it was a done deal. Agreeing in principal and signing on the dotted line are not the same. SS is the exact opposite of a knee-jerk kind of guy -- there are so, so many other issues that needed to be ironed out. When you all learn what went down -- regardless of which way it goes -- you will understand. I'm still blown away that somebody from the Dept. leaked that flight info to a twitter guy - just plain stupid. Certainly a fireable offense considering the stakes. Chill. It will all be over soon. And it will all make sense.
