Speaking of Arbys, I thought our community who would otherwise not be privy should appreciate the Arbys appreciation in Drew's weekly column.

Marquette is 4-0 under Wojo in conference games after a 7+ day layoff. I'll spend the time prepping for a win over Xavier.

These include:

Win vs. X last year.
Win @ Depaul in 2015-16
Win vs. Creighton in 2014-15

Couldn't find the last one.

Beware the norovirus plague. And, what are your detailed plans on maintaining the recruiting thread with Wojo and staff out on the trail while you are on the seas?  Submit your cruise ship internet bill to Rocky for reimbursement.

I dunno, Glow.  The Dad of Multiples and I will be exploring the rain forest, white-water rafting and biking in Costa Rica.  Funny how this got planned over the MUBB break.  Pure coincidence, I'm sure.  ;)

First, I really do hope you guys have a great time.

Second, Off topic? This is a thread about 9 days off...I find this to be perfectly on topic.

As to cruises...I've never been on one.  I really hate the idea of being confined to a small space with lots of other people (wife agrees).  I've got good friends that have tried the "luxury" boats, and confirmed what I believe to be negatives.  Finally, I've also have never seen any advantage to a cruise vs spending quality time in a tropical place.   I'd much rather immerse myself in local culture, and then retreat to my resort when I've had enough.  I am fortunate that I've been able to visit many places that way.

I'm booking my honeymoon. Not necessarily in the next 9 days but trying to wrap it up. Suggestions? Thinking Hawai'i, Barbados, Aruba, or possibly Southern Italy. Will be Hurricane Season so trying to stay away from that belt in the Caribbean.

Depends what you're looking for.  Sitting on a beach? Drinking? Food? Culture?

How ambitious are you? One destination or multi-destination?  Renting a car, taking the train, ferry boats, bus, or just flights in and out?

I'm making a big assumption based on "honeymoon," but you might also want to see how your list jibes with the CDC's Zika map.  Reason #1 we're headed to Hawaii this month instead of the Caribbean.

Sitting on a beach and drinking for sure, mixed in with a little exploration of the area. May rent a car depending on our destination but we're also considering all-inclusives that we'd likely never leave.

A co-worker returned from HI today, was supposed to be yesterday but he went through travel hell getting both there and back. It took him 28 hours to get to Kona from O'Hare thanks to plane problems. Even if everything went without a hitch he was looking at long travel days.

Personally I like the beach not a ship, off to Negril for 10 days very soon, 3-4 hours on a plane is enough for me.  8-)

My experience, a beach is a beach. Maybe just write down 8-10 places, put it in a hat, and draw at random.

Also, I'd recommend going to the tropics in the winter. Take a mini-moon after the wedding for a few days.  Drive somewhere and stay in a nice hotel.  Then take your beach trip in January or February.

IMHO don't skimp on the honeymoon and do what your heart tells you.  The extra $5K (or whatever) between a great trip and a "can you believe that trip?" is worth it.  The cash won't mean anything by the time you get to your death bed but the stories will mean a lot.

Trust me Zika is not all they make it to be. Lots of related mosquito transmitted diseases are worse like west nile virus (more prevalent in US) and dengue (Fla / caribbean)

Barbados / Aruba could get hit by hurricanes. They've hit all the way down to South America coast. If you come June to mid July chances are you won't have any hurricane trouble. And please note hurricane season in Pacific is same as in the Caribbean.

Interesting.  Couple of thoughts from my experience having done both.  Cruising allows for 'sampling'.  And I'm not just talking about St. Thomas shopping which I don't consider 'authentic'.  Chick and I have visited probably 75% of the Caribbean islands.  Many that few have ever been to.  Second, for many, myself included, there's the 'allure of the sea'.  Perhaps my favorite experience is watching a coastline emerge in the distance and my approach to the port.  Now I will say that a small ship experience is completely different (and better in my view) than a giant RCCL floating mega hotel.  THAT has little appeal for us.

Great discussion.

First, hurricanes are hit or miss.  And the European cruising season is essentially summer (May-September).  When's you wedding?  How much time do you have for the honeymoon?  Agree with others, make it a special trip.  Be happy to discuss this with you via PM.

Been using this 9 day stretch to do some deep thinking. Hear me out here.

Proposed nickname for Morrow: The Anchor

Considering it looks at mainly offensive efficiency, I get it, and probably agree with it too. Rowsey might be the least efficient of the three (though 118.9 is still stellar) but he scores about the same as Markus despite a much lower percent of shots taken. Rowsey is more accurate from three and his ability to get to the line (more than double Markus' FT attempts) is an incredible weapon. Also leads the team in assist percentage while having a respectable turnover rate.

Markus is probably close, but his 3P% and not being able to provide points in as versatile a manner as Rowsey (getting to the line, providing as well for others) knocks him down a peg. Sam in many ways should be the best, but his usage simply isn't high enough, and this doesn't really take defense into account. All of them are valuable, but on that end of the floor, I think Rowsey is probably the most defensible of the three when you're arguing MVP.
