Here is something:

In the last six minutes of the game, MU did not make a basket, not one until Markus prayer at buzzer.  Not one basket.

With the score tied at 65, MU called a timeout.  That play resulted in Markus dribbling around and around, bad pass, back to Markus with nothing on shot clock, and got blocked.

With Depaul up two and 20 seconds left, Wojo did not call a timeout (WHY?) and Bailey missed jumper at free throw line.

So, bad play out of timeout and then no timeout.

Depaul 31-35 at the line, ballgame.

Never said anything bad about Wojo, but the last two season collapses are very worrisome and not a good look.  This is my opinion, worst loss of year and one of Wojo's worst.  Without Reed, this should have been a win and ten gain some sort of momentum.  Down the toilet now.

Agree with everything, except Bailey's shot was a three point attempt, not from the foul line.

Yep. Was wrong about the Bailey shot.

The game felt over at that point anyway.

Worse than fouling when he didn't know the score?

The recent regression and/or dip in confidence in Sacar, Koby, Bailey and Cain is just a killer. Feels like they have all taken a big step back. Markus with at least 3 drives with no foul or finish down the stretch was a killer. They gave him the touch calls 30 feet out, but not when he was taking it to the rack. Couldn't tell if he was hit or not, but would rather see him go straight up rather than trying to avoid a bunch of contact and get no foul and miss the very difficult shot.

Not one set play I can think of down the stretch to get an easy bucket.

Very difficult to stomach this one.

He just finished with Homer.  Pretty short chat.

He sounded like you think he should sound .. defeated.

He should.  His players did not score a field goal in the last six minutes of the game against a dumpster team missing its best player.

Your gift wasn't for a loved one. It was for a death in the Marquette family.

The demise of hope. The extinction of possibility. The obliteration of excellence.

All Dreams of Glory eradicated just as certain as the coach's look of bewilderment betrays the dissolution of yet another season.
