Juries convict people. Judges sentence them. Parole officers make recommendations on release. What exactly do you want them to do?

Again if you are asking for a risk free environment, that’s not possible.

put the gov thing aside, let's start with those who are responsible for putting them in prison in the first place...or are supposed to...and keep them there until they show they are safe to live in society

What's this actually mean?
Indefinite prison sentences for every crime? Re-write the Constitution to take away the right to bond?
How does one show they are safe to live in society? Who makes that judgement?
The rocket plan for fixing the criminal justice system seems seems big on platitudes, low on actionable details.

How do you fix this?
You're great at complaining, not so great at offering actual solutions.

The purpose of the right-wing echo chamber is to stir up rage amongst the easily mislead, it certainly isn't to equip them with solutions to their imaginary problems. You're asking a fool for something he cannot possibly provide.

some people die, some people live, some people get raped, some people only get a flesh wound...oh well

I am heartened to hear that you are vehemently against the 1-6-21 felons ever being released early - and certainly against them being pardoned for strictly political reasons.

Great that you're gonna vote against the presidential candidate who is promising to release these criminals - many of whom pleaded guilty to violent crimes against police officers, some of whom are leaders of lawless, seditionist, racist, antisemitic groups - into society.

Good to hear, roQQet. Thanks!

maybe shortening up the rap sheets by a few pages would be a start

How about we start with prison reform? Seems like many learn a trade in prison, that trade being how to commit more crimes.  Or let's go even further back than that. How about lets work on the reasons many commit crimes.

Recividism has always been off the charts.  Just one more thing that has been an issue for decades that is suddenly a source of trollflake fauxrage.

If we moved Marquette’s campus to Mequon people would be less tempted to commit crimes on it.
