Wow, I thought Hauser was a 75-100 type kid. Never thought I'd see him in the top 50. Well done Sam!

All names associated with Marquette:

28. Cassius Winston
35. Amir Coffey
47. Sam Hauser
49. Javin Montgomery-Delaurier
58. Tyler Cook
73. Kevin Huerter
74. Lamar Stevens
75. Brendan Bailey
93. Myles Powell
95. Quentin Goodin
UR. Daquan Bracey

Not a bad list of offers that Wojo has out. Gotta believe that he can grab at least one (in addition to Hauser) off this list.

Also, no mention of Kostas. Must not have gotten the memo from Jerry Meyer.

If Wojo sticks around, this could be better than TC & Buzz.  And I loved Buzz.

Awesome to see Hauser rise big time. Hopefully the other sites catch on as the summer goes along.

I honestly think Coffey should be top 30 but obviously 35 ain't bad!

Hah. I'm hoping the rumors of him prepping for a year are accurate. He could really use it, and it would only help MU's chances.

Plus he'd have a chance to start for two years in High School.

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

How does it help MU's chances?  I just think it means one more year towards Giannis' free agency.

Assuming the team is in MKE, Giannis will be as well.

MU has built in advantages here. But, the 2016 scholarship situation doesn't bode well for taking a player who is a project at this point. If he preps, and hones his skills a bit, I would think Wojo would be all over him.

Basically helps our chances in having more open scholarships

If he preps anywhere other than St John's, I'm not sure that having a year to adjust to being away from family will help MU's chances.

Wojo is going to get players. I am very confident that he will recruit well and get guys to play hard. Probably different types of guys than Buzz chased, but in long haul probably a better game plan.

I've got to think that the extent of Hauser's jump in the rankings is a nod by the gurus to the evaluation abilities of Wojo and Bennett.

Anyone else notice that #50, Isaac Humphries, is an Australian attending "La Lumiere School"???

All WoJo should have to do is show off our piece of crap honeycomb building and he'll surely be heading to Milwaukee.

Since it's winter down under right now, if Wojo can get him to visit this summer maybe he'll think Marquette is a warm weather school.

Lots of good bball players have gone through La Lumiere. Including.... Hanner Perea of Indiana East Tennessee State.

A couple of years ago, La Lumiere played in a tournament my kids' school hosted.  At the time, they had seven players with D1 offers.  At the time, I didn't really know about the whole prep school concept.  All I could think about was what it would be like have a high school team with D1-quality players coming off the bench.
Have some patience, FFS.

A childhood buddy of mine is the head coach at LaLumiere... maybe I'll have to send him a Facebook message.

How come?

I would think it has more to do with Sam's ability and continued improvement. Kind of like the baseball myth of lineup protection - that having a better hitter after you in the lineup makes you a better hitter.

When was the last time Elgin was good? Not trying to be fececious I just honestly don't remember. They always play in my dad's volleyball team in a tournament every year so I know for a fact their volleyball team isnt spectacular.
