Keep the players away from the complementary limoncello in the gift shops and we'll be alright.

This is good news. I am pretty sure everybody goes, I think the biggest plus is the practices you get as a team over the Summer to prepare for the trip. Nice.

Yes, Haanif Cheatham talked about it in an interview not too long ago.

This is a huge benefit. Getting tested against some high level competition and getting some experience will be a great primer for the Legends when they will have to face off against a rejuvinated LSU team and a good NC state team (I haven't paid too much attention to ASU)

Some requirements as to who can go, but hopefully everyone will be able to. Too early t tell how things progress.

I would consider going.

I'm going to be in Italy in early July, but this probably won't be until August, right?

Wojo closes the shades: "Ive brought you here to talk about your graduate year. I don't want you to think of me as a travel director... more like a coach. But I think we can get you a sweet package to Italy this summer AND you'll get the benefit of playing scholarship basketball. But before we get to business, let's enjoy a nice champagne brunch."

I heard Chris Collins on 670 The Score in Chicago this morning and he mentioned that he's taking his team to Italy this summer too... when teams travel overseas do they play and/or scrimmage with other D1 teams taking similar trips?

Regardless, I'm sure Wojo and Collins both brining their teams to Italy over the summer is no accident... pretty cool IMO

Minnesota is doing one too.

This is the perfect time to do one. You can only do it like once every 4 years and it's perfect with a young team and so many new guys(at least 6)

No. Different sections of the Bylaws are applicable for these two areas (foreign tours vs. exhibitions/scrimmages vs. another D-I team) and very different.

Yes, but will the main course be presented as willingly?
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I've eaten Italian food in Louisville and throughout Italy. It really depends if they let you order things you won't find on the menu. Mmmm

With the other news of the day... 1 broken bone, one surgery, and one more departure, I hope they're going for a 3 on 3 tournament or maybe a coaches + players league.

On the positive side, Italian clubs are full of 6'9" 18 year olds who can shoot lights out.  Problem is most of them have already been getting paid for a couple years.  Let's hope that Diener can open the "italian pipeline" and we get some good Euro recruits!

Now hold on there Buster. Rumor is that Porcini's has a great table spread. Pitino experienced it and was satisfied in 15 seconds.
