What's been missed
« on: February 11, 2008, 09:26:35 PM »
Been out of the country for a week so just got up to date w/last week. Lets see

On our court Uof L shoots over 50%

ND does not score a field goal for the last 6 min of the game and still scores 86.

Where is the tough D that MU is known for?  Where is the heart, desire that are so important to good D?

Guys and girls, there is something very seriously wrong w/ this team that no one wants to discuss.  At times this team looks, tired, confused, playing w/ no sense of urgency, purpose,  sloppy, and w/o any heart.  Certain people refuse to pass the ball to others, very inconsistent play from game to game both by team as a whole and individuals.  Have they tuned out the coach? and each other?

We have the 2 time BE def played of the year : return top 7 from last year: guards that are suspose to be great defenders; pre- season ranked top 12: pre-season top 3 in BE to challange G-Town which is why  G-Town is CBS. A very experienced team but where are we today? Our D at times is just not there and our O non-existent.

Today we are a 8/9 seed at best and falling fast.  Will be lucky to finish 9-9 in BE play which may mean NO bid w/ our very soft non-conf schedule( see 'cuse last year). So where are we?

You've obviously been out of the country a lot longer than a week if you haven't noticed any threads discussing what is wrong with the team.

Who would that be?  McNeal won the award once.

And Syracuse last year had a RPI of 50 (we're at 31).  Syracuse last year three losses to teams ranked 100 or worse...we have zero such losses.

Other than that...I think you're right on target.
