This, less is more.  Just Theo.  When you get to a certain level all you need to hear is one name and that says it all.

However, I am not a nickname guy, I think the vast majority of them are too gimmicky and only used to amuse people who think they are really creative, but are not.  Of course there are exceptions, but in general they mostly all are bad.

I was unaware of that connection.   Wasn't sure if Chick was being serious or sarcastic.  Given that she was being serious , I will also withdraw my support.

I’ve called him “the undertaker” ever since I saw this yrs team poster (which is awesome btw) but I’m fine w Tarzan if that’s what his team nickname is. The duke guys call Zion “Zanos”and that’s pretty solid

I was serious, but not because I personally would consider it racist. I am just not sure everyone else would take it in the spirit in which it was intended.

Think about it:  It's a first name that is a stereotype, a last name that is a skin tone, and the comparisons are to a dog and an ape.

It's an outrage disaster waiting to happen.

Stephen Howard, the former BlueDemon doing analyst for FS1 last night tried something with the Wall of Theo, or the Theo Wall.

But I feel that is lacking.   Nerlens Noel was known as the Nerlen Wall.  That provides a vision.  Rudy Gobert, the Frenchman in Utah known as the Stifle Tower.  Even a secondary name of The French Rejection.

Maybe something from the Block of John, or Theo 3:16, Thou shalt not score.  Block/Swat/Denial/Reject 3:16? Tarzan 3:16?  I feel there's something there.  Just have to find the right combo.

I'm waiting for Dickey Simpkins to call the game.  Somebody call security!  Or maybe that's just for steals.
