Unfrickin' Believable
« on: March 16, 2008, 04:51:29 PM »
Just watched the best athlete I've ever seen, bar none, sink a long birdie putt on 18 to win @ Bayhill. Fifth straight tournament win.

Yeah, I just started laughing.  It's sick how easy it is for him, well not easy but how easy he makes it look.

I don't know if you're familiar with Sherwood Country Club, home of the former Shark Shootout, the Duval vs Tiger Challenge, plus Tiger's other tournament.  Well it's very private but last week IMG (the sports agents for Tiger) got me on the course to play a round.  Tiger called in a favor to the club to get us on.

Wow.  It totally kicked my arse but it was incredible.  All those guys said Tiger is just a gem to work with, too.  That's always nice to hear.

that was an absolutely ridiculous putt. I was watching it at McGillicuddies before the selection show. I didnt think anyone besides me and the bartender were even paying attention to what was going on. Seeing Tiger address the ball and let it go. Watching it roll, seeming like it would come up short, then it takes its right hand turn and drops in... pretty much the whole bar was screaming.   That was AWESOME.

he is the man, he can do anything.

With his victory in the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Tiger Woods tied Ben Hogan on the all-time PGA Tour wins list.  At this point I am willing to call him the greatest golfer of all time.

Not only that, but the fields today are so much stronger top to bottom then they were back then.  He's just a machine.

I wonder what the odds are that anyone in the field will beat out Mr. Masters at the Masters.

Well, given that my company's filtering system will not let me follow the link... Thank you.
