We made the NCAA tournament.
Few thought we would our first year with Shaka.
Relax, we will be back next year.
We can only do better next year.
Total loser mentality.

Not a single person here was complaining about Shaka during the six game stretch in January, or when we made the tourney.

But now everyone comes out of the woodwork. Defense is sh!t, but Love is having the game of his life and there are so many open looks that the players bricked.

At this point, just go out and win the half, walk away with class and chin up

HERE YOU GO:

MU shooting 30%
UNC 10 for 22 from three, MU 3 for 13.

Rebounds:  UNC 32, 11 offensive.
                 MU 16, 3 offensive
Yes, the rebounds are correct, you are not reading incorrect.

Morsell: 4 points
Caleb Love: 21. Almost outscored MU by himself

MU one free throw
UNC 11 made

Justin Lewis:  0 for 8 zero points.

Worst MU NCAA Tournament history loss is possible.

That's bullcrap and you know it.

Morsell is embarrassing himself and the university with his behavior.

Please for the love of god just ban this troll.

this has to be the worst performance in the past 10 years. i cant even believe how pathetic this. least competive team by far today. D3 teams could compete better. do we keep it under 50? sicking just sicking

I never post in game threads but this sums it up.  MU did not come to play.

This season was only a success for the fans that expected this team to be terrible.

Pretty much this, yeah.

The fact that only a few were smart enough to see this as a potential tourney team is no excuse for the sh*t job the coaching staff has done with this team down the stretch.
A team good enough to beat Nova twice, including in their building, should not be performing the way Marquette has in March. Inexcusable.

And we can do worse next year.

What's the record for technicals? Maybe we could get that.

Look, as Norm stated, 46-17 was the score after MU led 8-7.  I mean think about that for a second.  That's inexcusable in a 1 vs 16 game.  46-17?  I'm sorry but that half was a total disgrace and there's no other way to see it.

This team is playing the exact same as they have the last 2 months.

Anyone paying attention shouldn't be particularly surprised by MU performance.

And the scoreboard reflects the trajectories of these 2 teams late in the season

I’m officially done caring about MU basketball.  Don’t care if they are good down the road.  Between Wojo and this my love for mubb has been completely extinguished.

Last post then? Cool, good luck going forward.

.

Tell me what looks better next year, no center, if Lewis leaves what forwards, Kolek really pathetic,  Cam debatable, Joplin no clue on D, and a team that does not have any rebounders.  What looks good, freshman who are 3 stars?

MU is now THE laughingstock of the entire tournament.  Not just because of their inept performance (both players and coach), but that they acted like a bunch of crying babies while getting spanked.

You could say they are the “you” of this board.  Laughing stock and huge crybaby.

Last six weeks more like it.
But the fact is, teams adjusted to what MU wanted to do. Shaka and his staff have been unable to respond to those adjustments.

My views on Shaka as a coach have been very prescient.

But go ahead and enjoy the suck

Our only chance was to slow the game down and concentrate on defense but Shaka did what Shaka does, play a fast game which we have been unsuccessful at for the latter part of the season

You’re not wrong, but Rocky and Topper have banned people for much less.

I don’t understand why he gets such a long leash.

A 39-9 run is so bad that it almost sounds impossible. But there it is
