So you hate them because some of their fans were upset that people that clearly had no rooting interest (wearing Marquette gear) were gleeful, while their team was losing, about the outcome of a game that wasn't even in the same city and then those gleeful fans were rooting against their team while their team was losing?  Again, despite the team they had fan gear on for was not even playing in the same city?

Sounds like the problem was probably more you than them.

I was not the problem.

Nope.  I wasn't obnoxious at all, I was just cheering for VCU.  This happens in every arena in the country where you have some away fans in home arenas let alone a neutral site.

Edey has a bad habit of over closing out when his assignment pulls up for a jumpshot. Could create some nice mismatches with Oso and Gold drawing Edey away from the basket. I'm sure Painter is drilling it into Edey's head to not leave his feet.

Edey also has the tendency to use his elbow to try and clear space when making a move to the basket from the post up position. That's fine against most bigs but Peay managed to draw three offensive fouls on him because he clocked the shorter defenders above the shoulders with his elbow.

Here's hoping Pat "Double T" Driscoll is the whistle tonight.

Put Kam, Stevie or Sean on Edey?

Well, we managed to beat Radford and you didn't seem to see that coming either.

Not even remotely true.

I said I expected a close win and that's pretty much what we got. I never said I expected a loss.

"Radford has a Nova transfer, a Pitt transfer, and a Murray State transfer with some decent returning scorers.

I think this is going to be a down to the wire opener.

I'll say Marquette 73 - Radford 69."

Looks to me I nearly had the score nailed too. Not sure what Brew is talking about.

It was a 3 possession game with 3 minutes to go and a 2 possession game with 45 seconds left.  I also got Radfords point total exactly correct.

I don't think my prediction was all that off. More accurate than those assured us all it would be a blowout cover.

Eh...it was a 21 point game with like 5 minutes and change left. They put in Keeyan in and Radford went on a 9-0 run before taking Keeyan out. It seems more like a blowout where the coach put the back of the rotation players in a little too early than a "down to the wire opener".

Your prediction wasn't a good one.  Marquette just let off the gas too early, which young teams do.  The outcome wasn't in doubt.

It was a close game for the 1st 28 minutes and the last 3.

As others have noted, we were pounding them and they made a run when we put backups in early. That game was never in doubt. Not remotely.

That game was the definition of a snoozer. Not even a shadow of a doubt even when the lead shrunk.

They had a run and then lost to Virginia a few years ago.  Who gives a S?  They have 0.0000000 NCAA titles.
yeah and weve done nothing for a decade. Trying to act like were supuror cuz we have one title from 45 years ago is cringe.

Purdont's board thinks they win this one and points to the 9 point opening spread and the 9th place preseason prediction for MU in the Big East as reasons they won't really know how good this team is after tonight.  They also seem to think Shaka is not a good college coach.
