If Bruce offers, that's where he'll end up.

And why wouldn't he offer.....he's wonderful at having folks tamper chat up to current players on other teams to get them to come his way yet screams like a stuck pig when someone does it to him.

I'd love, love, love for JM to go to UT and have Tim down there in tow.  Bruce and Tim can troll together for night life.  They deserve each other.

Players love Bruce's style of ball. Great atmosphere to play in, solid conference, and academics won't be an issue.
Tampering? Come on Chicos. Do you really believe Maymon was "encouraged" to transfer?

Guess Bruce Pearl is drawing up the offense right now to go through JM.

I watched Tennessee play on ESPN last week. I doubt very much whether Jeronne will see much more playing time there than he had at MU. Best of luck to coach Pearl and his new assistant AD, Tim Maymon.

Playing time may not be the only thing JM has to compete for . . . from some of the pics I have seen posted, he may be competing with BP for time with the coeds, too. ;D

no at schools like UT, Memphis, Louisville, Cincy, Kentucky, West Va. etc the players have no problems with taking turns and taking seconds and thirds, sometimes all at the same time. Really classy student athletes at some of these schools. Should all be grouped in a Swarmy Conference.

We should all have been so lucky as to be surrounded by the coeds at pretty much any SEC school.

Pearl got his ass schooled by former MU coach Kevin O'Neill over the weekend who rolled out a Carolina reject, an Eastern European, a Point Guard on his fourth school in four years playing his first game for USC, a couple of bench guys, and a rapper's kid.

Guess there's more to this coaching thing then recruiting and rolling the ball on the court.

Do I think he was encouraged to transfer?  Hell yes...by Tim Maymon.  Now, whether any other coach had any influence, I have no idea....I'm only going off what he did while at UWM which was tamper with multiple players from other schools to get them to transfer to UWM.

Now that is a tough sell. On a par with pitching Yugos, back in the day.

Warthog....nothing difficult to sell at all.  Two schools got pilfered of their talent by him....one was Bradley University.  Basically anyone in college athletics in the midwest during that time knew exactly what was going on but that wonderful NCAA just sits back.....they were probably still investigating Reggie Bush before Reggie Bush had even done anything yet.

You're right!  MU Student athletes always hold up the morals of a Catholic Institution!

oh wait, I guess I won't regail you with the stories I have heard about many of our players... Including one who my friends and I nicknamed, "Tag Team".

yeah lets all jump on the moral relativism train where all behavior is equal. Pearl is just as good a human being as the next guy. And the coach of Kentucky isn't a slimeball.

You were specifically referring to players of other teams doing bad things, and I gave an example of one of our players doing bad things.

It was a completely valid counter point.

All coaches are (more or less) slime balls.  It comes with the job.  What you know about each slime ball is what they allow out.  Some coaches are better at covering things up and media control, and some clearly are not.  Are some worse than others?  Of course.  If you are simply trying to state the obvious here, we all can agree.

Anyways,
Back on topic,

If JayMay and TayMay end up at UT I doubt they'll be happy.  UT's leading scorer is a Soph Guard and I think Bruce has some other talented guys who would see the offense run through them before it goes through Maymon.

We're not visiting the University of Tennessee, we're visiting the state of Tennessee, where the Memphis Grizzlies are already starting their individual workouts with us.  We're expecting a guarantee that if we are available by the time they draft (so if they have the number 1 overall pick) they will select us.

Scotty Hopson is the guard. Add a Top Ten, five star forward recruit named Tobias Harris, along with SF Woolridge and Maymon is outside looking in.
