Typical Scoop game thread. We get off to a slow start and the "fans" turn against the team. Team climbs back into game and then takes lead and it's still not good enough. This team deserves better.

What? I don't think anyone on here is unhappy with the team. I think most are proud and having fun seeing a small inexperienced group fight.

Jimmy Butler schooling Brooke Lopez ... I'd trade all of them for one Dwight Burke stop 6 years ago!

Derrick has played a nice game thus far.  Though I do wish at the end of the half on that inbound after TN made FT - he would have inbounded it to Duane, instead of making Duane inbound it to him.  Duane wanted the ball/not be inbounder and Derrick basically said not so much, and made Duane inbound it.  (Unfortunately.)

Only 2 seconds left so it's not really a huge difference IMO.

+1. Though if we had made the S16 that year, Crean would have gotten an even bigger paycheck from IU...

I never realized Marquette had such a huge farming fanbase. I've never seen so many Farmers Only website ads...

Also, what's the deal with people not going in to game chat this season?  These threads .. not good.  Hard to read any of it, hard to post.  Are people really reading this?

If you're gonna slap the floor, Duane, you better make a stop.

One of Derrick's best qualities is his strength when driving to the hoop. He's done a very nice job of that this year, especially in this tournament. He seems much more aggressive. I don't see as much of the PG dribbling the air out of the ball as we've seen in the past.

Soooooo.....what's the beverage of choice today?

Just had my last sip of Woodford Reserve.  Switching to Booker in 2nd half.

First Fistmas of the season. I'm very happy.

Du has to follow his shot. Play smart.

Great pass to Teve!

Juan is having a terrible, terrible second half so far.

Missed bunny, missed rebounds, two turnovers.

Isn't it a goaltend if you touch the net when the ball is on the rim? Tennessee has done that a bunch on offense.

I doubt it. He jumps like his shoes are made of concrete.
