I think we will get them this year. And the writer there is an idiot. No way Syracuse beats us by 30 on our home court. No way they beat us by 10. I've said it before, I'll probably say it again, Buzz's teams don't get blown out, especially not at home. It doesn't happen.

I hate that guy.  My mom won her  own big noggin last year.  Her photo involved marquette alum on a habitat for  humanity service project.  I am biased, but MU and service to community are things to be proud of.  That guy is a chach and I can't wait for that game now.  Screw that guy.

No one who lives in the hellhole that is Syracuse, NY should be making fun of a free trip to Milwaukee.

Agreed Merrit. Cuse is the armpit of upstate NY.

Saw this and was just going to post it. What a flake. Will look forward to posting smarmy remarks in the comments section and feeling good about myself after the team shuts him up.

Agreed Merrit. Cuse is the armpit of upstate NY.

Cuse is up in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of NY.  I was up in Ithaca for a friend's wedding on Cornell's campus and it's absolutely gorgeous up there.

I, personally, prefer an urban campus.  If I had to choose between UW-Madison and Syracuse, though, it would be hands-down Syracuse's campus.

Hate on the goof-ball blogger all you want, but Syracuse is an excellent university with a beautiful campus.

Wait.  Cornell and Syracuse are two very different campus settings.

Agreed.  Syracuse doesn't compare to Ithaca.  It doesn't even compare to Watkins Glen.  Heck, even Rochester gives Syracuse a run for its money.

Although I've been to the Finger Lakes region many times, I never considered Rochester or Syracuse part of that region... merely an airport to get me there.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

These idiots know nothing of marketing.  Yes, the games a sellout.  Great day for a big MU party, no?  In fact, I see there are 50 (yes, FIFTY) partys in the works around the country.  I'd say that there's some good marketing.  (And, yes, I've been to Syracuse.  It's like Brillion, WI, without the sophistication.)

He had posted a tweet earlier today:

"Man, for a fanbase that says they don't care about Syracuse, Marquette fans sure seem to care about beating Syracuse."

Pure genius.

Anyone know our record on National Marquette Day?  All I know is 1-0 since 2011.
