Great effort today.  We got the critical stops we needed in the last 4 mins.  We didn't give up any 3s in that final stretch (except for that last one with 1 second left) and took smart shots.  McNeal is money with that assist to Jimmy and I love how he went straight up, no hesitation.  good instincts.  Great win to build up some confidence before these next 4.  Is there any better practice any other team can get before the NCAA tourney that we will get against 3 top ten teams?  DIG it!

How this team wins without a true center and with one player off the bench is unreal.  Its heart attack city each game and what a blast to watch, with all the ups and downs.  I did not anticipate this at all in beginning of year and now I don't want it to end.  What an effort of guts.

Thrilled with this win as the defense clamped down in the second half. The first half saw too many open 3s they've been accustomed to giving up but the rotations seemed better in the final 20 minutes. Georgetown isn't a great team this year but a road win in the BE always is a good one.

McNeal made some Wade-esqe plays today.  I couldn't believe some of the shots he made today.

This team is the real thing. A few weaknesses, but the strengths overcome.

With 'nova and Providence losing...we've all but wrapped up the double bye.

Everyone on our team played great today. Wes and Jerel led us and Hayward stepped up in the 2nd half. Butler impressed as well. Burke played solid defense and got some good rebounds. Although James took a few bad shots, he played good defense. Im pumped about this win. Let's take it to UConn on Wed

Don't you mean if Nova loses?? They beat Rutgers on Thursday night, play @ Syracuse tomorrow.

the double bye is not a definite positive. The first game will generally be a tough one and the team loses the chance to dust a few of the weaker sisters by way of warmup and to pad the record

Because guards dominate in college hoops, just as Len Elmore said in the opening two minutes.  There are so many teams in college hoops that don't have a "true center" which is why if you have great guards you can get it done.

Nice win.

Of the five game stretch, I ranked this one as the second most likely (Syracuse most likely).  Hopefully we can steal one of the other three.  I'd be thrilled to go 3-2 in this stretch.

Nothing less than 5-0 and even then Gotlieb will still say we are over rated.
