That name sounds so familiar...didn't we recruit him?  Or were we in the running for him when he left West Va.?  He's playing for Texas So. in the first four game on right now.  Has like 30pts. but they are losing late in the 2nd half.

Yes.

He would not have lasted a week under Buzz.  He is clearly the most dominate player on the floor, but has only two rebounds, both offensive.  The analyst (Reggie Miller?) has been reeming him for no defensive rebounds and Cal Poly killing them on offensive boards.  Cal Poly is four games under 500% for the year and beating them.

Agreed.  I suppose he's at Texas Southern for a reason.  Just kept hearing the name and knew it sounded familiar.  Finished with 38 pts., but they lost.

Murray went first to Lasalle, then West Virginia (trouble), then TSU.  FYI, he was ranked #35 in the 2009 class.

Thought he was borderline to go to the draft instead of another school when he decided to leave La Salle.  Two schools and three years later...

When's the last time a 6'10" big put up 38 and 2, with 0 defensive boards?  Did he just stand on the offensive block the entire game?

When he left LaSalle, we were recruiting him as well as West Virginia.  Did "Buzz back off him" or did he just decide to go with West Virginia?  I don't know.  When he left West Virginia, MU wasn't in the conversation.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

He was a head case. Transferred many times. If Huggins couldn't stand him (tame him), who could?!
