Anyone else in Chicago getting Comcast ESPN Full Court Outage?
« on: November 25, 2008, 07:17:05 PM »
I am getting "For ordering information press info" on my tv, even though I ordered full court and it worked Saturday.

Anyone else in Chicago getting this? I called and they said it was a network problem, but I want to make sure they weren't just blowing me off.

so you called too and they told you it was a "network problem?"

I just wanted to hear someone else have the issue - otherwise I was going to try calling again.

Yeah, this is BS. They reset box and now it says not authorized. I ordered ESPN full court weeks ago.

at least it's not just me...  That's all I needed.  I don't think I want to watch us lose to Texas Southern anyway.  :-[

I'm in Evanston and my FullCourt feed is coming through.  I had problems with the last game, but I think it was a blackout.

One thing you can try and do is set the game to record, select the "I have ordered by phone" option, and then go to your DVR menu and play the game.

I’m directly north of you. No idea what the issue is. I’ve been relegated to 540 AM.

Are you getting other ESPN FC games?  Possibility you are getting blacked out because you are too close to Milwaukee?

I'm in Kohler and it's blacked out on TV and on ESPN360.com.  I really get sick of this crap.  I couldn't make it down tonight, but it was listed on the TV and Internet schedule only to be blacked out about 5 min. prior.  I have a great deal of hate for Charter, Comcast and ESPN right now!

It's some technical problem. I'm 5 miles north of evanston so being near to brew town is not an issue. At least they gave me a $15 credit. But I'd rather watch the game.

It was playing fine out here in CA on ESPN360.com, but the feed has stopped at 1:15:36. Dunno why!!!

Must've been a tech problem as it's back up!

Your hatred should be directed toward Time Warner, they control the rights to when it is "blacked out".  At least that is my understanding.

I am not in Chicago but had a similar issue when I ordered Full Court this year.  They had to send someone out to make an adjustment on my digital cable box.  The tech explained to me that they were going to be offering free HD channels soon and were trying to cram a lot more info into the system.  They took a part of the back of my box and it started working immediately.
