Hope she’s from New York or she’ll never hear the end of it.

At first I was surprised there wasn't a thread to bump for Maryland.

But then I realized it's been a while since Marquette faced Maryland.

Which, if I'm not mistaken, this is the first time Marquette and Maryland have ever faced off.

Yeah, I searched first. Then had to ask Titan to double check my work.

Crazy.

Maryland is one of three high major programs we've never played, as I noted in the CS preview  ;)

Nope; a nice Jewish girl from Baltimore.  She and Glow worked together in Boston while he attended Harvard Law School. Could have put together a hell of an intramural basketball team; he had Marc Marotta as a schoolmate.

And there it is a harvard grad will pick their nose to show off that class ring

Wow.  I don't particularly like him as an announcer but none of you yahoos have likely ever met him.  I'd make a lousy announcer too.

I've met him. He was nice enough, but there's something odd about him.

In honor of Keefe and these threads for alumni, but with a twist.  The gentleman below is a Maryland alum...and worked in the "industry" for which Keefe often contributed alumni to in alumni threads.

Good thing that’s not your profession then, unlike Elmore

Elmore has multiple professions, including head of the NBA Retired Players Association.  He still teaches at Columbia University.   I believe he may still be practicing law as well.
