(with apologies to glow)

Dear Rocky:

I understand that we have had previous discussions on your leniency when it comes to banning certain posters.  And I came to agree with you, that just because certain posters express opinions that don't agree with my own, or say mostly negative things about the team, or rag incessantly on one player to extremes that become truly puzzling (e.g. L.Fischer), this is not necessarily a reason to ban someone from a message board.  Instead, it can promote civil discourse and lively interaction on said message board, which is of course what we all seek by regularly visiting Scoop.

At this time, however, I feel the need to raise new objections.  It appears that said poster has moved beyond releasing his frequent vitriol on the team, coach and program and instead has taken to attacking a certain valued poster (whose name may or may not contain a number of J's).  This, I believe, crosses the line of civil discourse and lively interaction, and warrants, on the part of the moderators of this board, at a minimum a strongly worded warning that said poster should cease and desist personal attacks or risk shortening his life on said message board.

I appreciate your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Mom

Damn, when I was in school notes from Mom were supposed to keep you out of trouble not get you into some.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Never thought Egor was a possibility since MU is a jesuit school and I believe Igor is Jewish.  That does make a difference to some kids.

Hey, I took Judaism for three of my nine theology credits.

Egor is out.  Just not enough mutual interest.  Too many others to focus on right now.  Still would like one traditional and one grad transfer.

Morrow is someone that Wojo wants.
Stan focusing on 2018.
Hauser family loves MU, per Mrs. H.

Giddy about freshman coming in.  Think that they are underrated as a class and excited about the chemistry already.  Elliot seems like a real big steal now.  Todd already has some plans for him this summer.

Harry's ankle is fine.

Sorry I have been traveling a lot and have not been in MKE much.  Missed the banquet for the first time in a decade.

I know my priorities are all mixed up.  I should make this board a higher focus.    Will work on it.

I am not sure what type of class Barry was trying to teach, but one of the smartest men I have ever sat and talked to for 45 minutes.  Only one problem with Barry,
loved to talk above your head and made you feel like a fool after you were done talking to him.  His sermons were ridiculous and barely understandable.  Even at my
daughters bat mitzah his talk was about Magic Johnson and discussing his issues in front of 30,  12 and 13 year old kids.  Very inappropriate at the time.  As I was
leaving the pulpit, my brother was running up to him and telling him that, basically told him to F off.  Not my favorite rabbi, glad he left.  But brilliant.

I took Judaism (or whatever the class was called at the time), Old Testament and a class called Theism and Atheism.

It was the best a Jewish student could do to get his 9 theo credits while avoiding classes on Christianity.

IIRC, I attended those three classes about 25% of the time, total, and got B's in them. None of them took attendance, and all of them tested almost strictly on the textbook material. The definition of "cake."

I actually liked my 5 Philosophy classes, though. Even Logic, which a lot of kids hated.

ND (sucks) had in house with Joey tonight

Not really a helpful comment by Robert Chambers.  Sometimes to trumpet the obvious (Joey is "still a lock" for MU) is to call it into question.  Good players means good competition for their services.  MU can compete and compete well though.  There's been a strong mutual interest for a while.

Pretty sure that describes all his comments. That's why I have him on ignore, he's one of only two (some idiot Badger fan troll with a lightning avatar) I've bothered to ignore.

How many graduate programs outside of the Theology department require graduate students to take theology courses?  My guess is...none.  For a kid who would be coming here to play basketball and entering a master's program for the sole purpose of being able to do just that (play basketball for a single year), I am highly skeptical that a fear of being Jewish and needing to take Roman Catholic theology courses at a Jesuit university had any type of impact on Egor's decision not to consider MU.  But that's just my thinking, I've been wrong before.

Honestly, I'd be pretty surprised if he didn't end up at Florida. Hill, Barry, Robinson, and Leon are all gone, which means massive available minutes at the 2-4 positions. Weather, campus aesthetics, less competition for minutes, it seems like an obvious choice.
