White bread, butter, and bologna is a comfort food... but I haven't had one in years. :(

White bread toasted, duke's mayo, and a thick slice of tomato fresh from the garden is also great.

Add some coarse salt on top and its heavenly.  I prefer a different bread, but totally with you in theory.

If you're going to eat that, just add cucumber, red pepper, garlic, sherry vinegar and oliveoil, and make a good gazpach0.
