When I asked how Protestant churches handle it, it was basically a rhetorical question.

My point is that nearly every other major organized religion allows their clergy to marry and have families, so it is definitely doable.

And just because their is a huge, arcane hierarchy to support currently in the Catholic church, it doesn't mean it has to stay that way.  I don't recall Jesus commanding his apostles to set it up like that.  But it probably won't change.

It will change when the priest shortage become so acute that the church becomes nonexistent in some areas.

Probably not in our lifetime, but it will happen.

I didn’t think it would ever happen, but Rocket has a serious challenger for dumbest poster.

At least we know Tucker Carlson's Scoop handle now.

They've paid the price, and tens of thousands of innocents have as well.  The hostages that Hamas took months ago, are most likely dead.  They'd give them back in a heartbeat if they could, but they can't.

All wars eventually end in peace.  There is no 'winning' for either side without a cessation of the horrific violence.

We'll disagree on Hamas having paid the price. I am sad about the innocents on both sides that have died or been injured. Aren't you?

Hope you are having a great day 82.

I spent it with my wife, daughter and grandkids, so it was great! Thanks for the kind wishes.

And who is responsible for the cupboard in a coach’s second year, anyway? I mean, I’ve never heard that argument until now.

Actually this exact topic has been discussed before on Scoop. I don’t have the time, energy or inclination to look for it, but it has.

There were 40 uncalled offensive fouls at least as bad as that one in this game.

Walking peacefully...curious citizens...Just some tourists in the Capitol building, right?

If those curious citizens were Russian and did that in the Russian Capitol building, I think maybe, just maybe they would have faced far more serious consequences.

Or if they were illegal immigrants doing it in America the fake AI videos of attacks on police officers that definitely didn’t happen would be proof that we need a wall.
