Game 1: Centenary

Year 2 of the Buzz Williams era at MU kicks off Friday night, as the Golden Eagles host Centenary, a Summit League member from Shreveport, La.

Much has changed since the days Robert Parish was roaming the paint for the Gentlemen, most notably all of the school's athletic teams will be dropping from Division I to Division III beginning in 2011-'12 thanks to a vote by Centenary's Board of Trustees in late July.

This season, Centenary will play a unique schedule that sees it play at MU and Grambling, then return home for five straight -- including two league games -- play at Oklahoma, return home to host Lousiana Tech, and then head back out on the road for five straight games, two of which will be at Mississippi and Mississippi State.
