It worked out one game further along in the NCAA tournament than Jabari Parker worked out for Duke.

Although any program would have taken either of them, even the best recruits guarantee nothing. And in the meantime, you've spent a huge percentage of your recruiting budget and your recruiting time landing a kid for only one year.

Again, not saying Kansas and Duke shouldn't have done it. But this is why they play the tournament instead of just giving the title to the school with the best recruiting class!

The blame is not with Duke, Kansas or Kentucky.

The blame is with the media .

They constantly hyped these kids while making Kentucky preseason #1.  They proclaimed Kentucky's incoming class the best ever.  Do we still think they are the best ever?

The blame is with SI comparing Wiggins to Wilt and Manning.  Still think this is true?

Really wasn't the "year of the cardinal" Bridgewater won't be the first QB picked and they didn't even win the AAC for football.

Can we heap some of the blame on Bill Self?  Got outcoached again.

Self is a good recruiter, not a good coach. Always has a team loaded with four and five-star players.

Embid not playing has a little bit to do with this.

I'm not a huge Bill Self fan, but he does have a title and a national runner-up...plus 5 additional Elite 8's.
