Frozena Video
« on: February 18, 2009, 08:49:18 PM »
Sorry if this has been posted already, but my wife and I were SO excited last night for Frozena and watched the reaction numerous times.  Does anyone have a video of it to post?  I really appreciate it.

My first post.  Been a lurker for years.  Go Marquette!

The best part is seeing the three guys at the end, I think Lazar Wes and Jerel, standing as the play developed.  Then they started to jump when Frozena got the ball, once he made the shot they lost it.  You can really tell this team is close when the studs are so pumped with the walk-on having himself a big moment.

Here is an extended version complete with slow motion replays.

Cubillan

That was actually a pretty nice pass from Cubillan.

Sure, he took a boneheaded shot later, but he knew everyone wanted Frozena to get a field goal, and Cubillan hooked it up.

He used to do that too whenever Tommy Brice was playing.  Say what you will about his regression or his "worm" dance or whatever, but the guy seems to love his teammates.

The ESPN Sportscenter announcers made this same point when showing this play, which was the final highlight of the SC report on the game. Speaks volumes about the character and the culture of our team, and our school. Couldn't have been prouder.

In slow motion, Frozena catches the ball, and it looks like Jimmy Butler, Lazar, and Wes--before the shot goes up--start jumping in exact unison.

I like how Froenza acts so calm and collected following the shot.  You know he had to be trying his damnedest not to break out with a big smile!

Based on what I have learned in this thread, Frozena can dunk.

I can't image what the reactions would have been if he would have taken the dish from Cubillan up for a two handed slam.

I wish there was a camera on the MU bench when Buzz called for Frozena.  Lazar has started doing this ridiculous dance whenever Frozena heads to the scorers table, it needs to be captured for everyone to see.
