Brendan? Sacar? The refs for not calling fouls on us until the last 8 minutes of the game?

Bailey. Solid game from him. Not sure that can be said about anyone else.

edit: Bailey had a hell of a game when you look at the box score. He deserves the SOTG because without him, I think we may have lost.

Gotta be Bailey. Thought about Sacar, but 5 turnovers is just too much.

Markus, the game plan was clearly to get other guys going in the 1H, then when they turned him loose we opened up the game.

Good to see Bailey get some confidence, Morrow had some nice aggressive plays, as did Elliott. McEwen was solid down the stretch.

I also really liked Symir's run. He's a true PG, understands how and when to get guys the ball in good position. I'd be interested to see what his +/- was today. I hope we see more of him as the year goes on.

No one.  Simply put, while we won the game, we weren't the better team today.  Robert Morris played harder.  We stole the game because we had more talent.

There was never a single player who played well for more than a few moments.     Bailey made some nice choices in the second half.   Greg got some nice run in the first half and maybe should have played more in the second.    I can't give it to Sacar because he has forgotten how to defend, looks lethargic, and just isn't thinking out there, reminding me of bad JaJuan.   Koby had a nice second half.

I will go with Bailey, but there really wasn't a star today.

Bailey, but if nobody gets the SOTG, I'm ok with that too.

I will say that Markus is obviously going out of his way to prove to everyone that he is not a selfish player, but in doing that, he is hurting the team as a whole.
We need Markus to be Markus and he needs to take at least 20 shots a game, in my opinion.
I'm not saying jack up a bunch of selfish, Harden-like shots, but he needs to be aggressive.  He passed up at least 3-4 wide open shots today, and what often happens when you pass up open, good shots is that the team ends up turning the ball over on that very posesion, and that's exactly what happened today, especially in the first half......

Markus needs to be Markus going forward, if we are to make the tournament this year

A number of hours ago I suggested in the game thread that there should not be a SOTG.
When the thread opened, I abstained as a protest.

I hate to be seen as being negative, but his was a miserable performance. MU was outhustled.

I agree with nyg that the shuffle outside the 3-pt. circle drives me nuts. It accomplishes nothing!
Some folks have opined that the D wasn't bad, but there were back doors and guys left unattended under the hoop aplenty.

There is a lot to be done. BE opponents will be salivating over today's tapes. The last two games have vividly exposed a lot of our team's shortcomings. I fear that our expectations have been too rosy. I think it's going to be a long winter.

I may be completely off-base about my long-term projections regarding this season, but today's debacle doesn't warrant giving anyone a SOTG. Such a designation is to be won through valor, not a lesser-of-two-evils determination that reminds me of the last 30-40 years of presidential elections.

Bailey. Played the best defense and finally put the ball in the hoop. I was so relieved when he dunked the baseline drive this time. Learning.

It would have been Greg if he made his shots. Played with more hustle and energy than anyone else out there today. He just couldn't sink his open threes.

The refs.  Without the home job we lose.

I want to say Anim for his 14 points, but no assists and 5 turnovers.  Howard didn't shoot or distribute well.  Despite repeated attempts to get Theo the ball, he only managed 4 shots, 8 points and 4 rebounds.  I thought Morrow brought some energy and some points but many turnovers.  McEwen defended well and got 5 assists, but 4 turnovers and 20% from the floor despite getting 10 points.

So I'll have to pick Bailey, but he basically had one 2 minute stretch where he played well.  He defended well for most of the game but he was the primary guy who was continuously beaten off the dribble as RMU made their last push.

I can see why there are so many votes for nobody because nobody played all that well and we were just lucky we were playing a terrible team at home.

Pretty sure that would be that they had to play with Markus.  Doh!  That aside, Markus shot fine after the wrist injury - Seton Hall just had his number.
