Saw a little of Malek Harris playing for Kansa State on tv today. Said he was getting more time due to another players injury. Have to say he didn't look too bad. Good sized dude with nice mobility. Looked like a decent free throw stroke also
-
Did he ever catch fire?

Did he ever catch fire?
Boom. And with one stroke, the internet ended.

Was he weaving in and out of traffic?

Maybe he deserves another chance? Some grow up in an environment where non-mainstream behavior is the norm, aina? Keep givin' that all expense paid education because some misfits can dribble and shoot a fookin' basketball. It's all 'bout the shekels, hey?

You can't see the difference between Harris and Brown?
-
Do want your son sharin' a dorm room with Harris or Brown? I wouldn't reward either one with an athletic scholarship.

Brown? Sure. Did you bother reading the article that rocky linked?
In fact I would rather have my kid room with Brown than send my kid to play for that schmuck at Ucla.

Other than the fact that my 19 year old child is a girl... yeah, no worries.
-
I've never met Alford. Might be a schmuck. Fact is Kevon made his own decision. Guess that means he went with his gut. Probably wouldn't have been my choice. In the end, it don't matter. Lottery picks play for pay.

That 'cuz you're a fire fighter. It matters, long hair or short?

Not Harris.

Sultan thinks Alford is a terrible coach and an even worse human being. Any chance he can express that on Scoop he will.
-
Alford was on scholarship at IU, aina?

Yep.

As he should. It's outrageous the guy is even coaching in the NCAA, let alone UCLA.
-
Alford is a bad dude. I actually have a personal story. One of my friends who my dad coached got recruited to play for Alford at New Mexico. When he decomitted, Alford called the guy my dad coached with and said something along the lines of "I will make his life a living hell to get other offers and commit again" just because my friend decommited. Thats my, Steve Alford is a horrible human being story.

C'mon...we're not stupid...

Yeah, and even more outrageous that he snapped up Looney over that renowned recruiter, the Buzzster.
And UCLA should be banned for hiring Alford, who has been proven to dance with the Devil. And so should Mo. State, Iowa, New Mexico, and whatever school his next gig is at.
FWIW, my son golfed with Alford once and said he is a dick. But then again, my son thinks Pete Carroll is a saint.

Hey, didn't Michael Jackson once set his hair on fire. And his popularity did not sag.

He didn't "set his hair on fire." It was set on fire by pyrotechnics.

"something along the lines" in a third hand story. Now that is certainly reason to swear that the guy is a horrible human being. FWIW, Bobby Knight does not get along well with Alford, so that certainly must tell us all what kind of human being he is.

Richard Pryor on the otherhand...
But Pryor's excuse was a good one--wasn't he "freebasing"? That was in at the time with the celebrity in crowd.

also technically didn't "set his hair" on fire. he set the cocaine on fire, the cocaine set his hair on fire

Right, it was the cocaine's fault, technically.
