Perhaps Marquette should defund Men's Soccer and plow those millions into reestablishing the Golden Avalanche Grid Iron Gang. We could take Tanned Tommy's pledge and build a proper big bowl playing field.

Was MU expected to be ranked this year?  I thought the soccer team was hit pretty hard by graduation.

Their key defender, Axel Sjoberg, was drafted in the first round by the Colorado Rapids. Their starting goalkeeper, Charlie Lyon, was drafted in a later round and now plays for the Seattle Sounders reserve team.
