I'm not sure anyone will be picking fights with Kendrick anytime soon.

I agree with this analysis.  Which is why I disagree with foolish takes like this:

So Crean didn't recruit Acker and Cubillan? Now we're just living in stupid delusion land?

What I said is not a "take." It's simple established reality. Disagreeing with it is acknowledging you do not live in reality.

Juries convict people. Judges sentence them. Parole officers make recommendations on release. What exactly do you want them to do?

Again if you are asking for a risk free environment, that’s not possible.

Jesus h. chriminey man, post covid,  f'ing pee-wee Herman could have been in the house and those jobs would have been retrieved.  just wait to see how union dude weekend at Bernie's flushes the UAW down the chitter for his incessant dreams of climate blah-blah and they don't even know what's going to hit them

Actually everyone dies at some point.

But you aren't addressing what the alternatives are. No parole? Mandatory lifetime sentences no matter the crime? Because the fact is that people who have been released on parole are going to commit crimes. That's going to happen no matter what and no matter who is the governor.

put the gov thing aside, let's start with those who are responsible for putting them in prison in the first place...or are supposed to...and keep them there until they show they are safe to live in society

maybe shortening up the rap sheets by a few pages would be a start

recidivism is off the charts and someone needs to held resposible for this

I'm not sure what that means. Parole always comes with risks. Releasing people after they serve their full sentence comes with risks. Life comes with risks.

hows about judges and lawyers then?

Justin, Stevie, Kam, and Oso weren’t bad pieces to inherit.

You are correct but the difference is that Buzz inherited the Amigos who had been starting for three years.  Shaka inherited  a group that collectively started one game for Wojo (Lewis).  Crean left the nucleus of three straight tournament appearances for Buzz.

Listen, Lenny can’t let anything complimentary of Tom Crean go without a fight, no matter how wrong he is
