A week before my birthday. I think I'll treat myself to a ticket to this game.

Done deal. I expect MU to represent exceptionally well at that game. This is the next best thing to a game there. Show the love early and often.

First beer's on me, brah!

On second thought, can they even sell beer at a HS event, or is a made for TV thing like this an exception?

Think I will be making an appearance for this. We should have a decent representation in this game. Going to be really fun to see.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

I won't be there.  Games like these are so unfortunate.

Let the kid enjoy the experience and don't go overkill on it.  Dead serious.  Games like these will give some the impression he walks on water, which is unfortunate.  There will be some that will carve statue figurines and put them next to their bed.  Whatever.  Cool to be excited about this game, I'm certainly happy he is at MU.  I hope that fans will let him enjoy the experience, one can already tell by this thread and others that the expectations are not always linked to reality....that's my concern, especially when talking about 18 year old kids.  Some people expect too much....it's fandom, I get it.  To each their own.

It's one of the reasons I didn't put his name in my username...I wanted to treat him no differently than any other recruit.  TEAM is the name of the game, no I in team.  An exceptional talent, no doubt.  Hope he enjoys MU, I trust he will.

So stop whittling my figurine? I left work early to start on this.
