It’s always fun to read this thread and wonder if y’all are watching the same game I am.

You are such joyless fans.
I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

Are these like Nintendo rules where the team in the lead doesn't get any benefits like normal fouls?

Did MU win by 10, reading these posts you would think they lost by 10. Right, did not play that well, but still won. Give the coach for Butler for making the game really hard for Markus

Character has been revealed so many times.

Yep.  Every game thread us just non stop whining.  As if the other team has nothing to do with the outcome.  As if every mistake is a personal affront.   Toddlers.

Because we won the game by 10 points, doesn’t negate the fact that our press break was absolutely horrible the last 3 minutes.
I find it odder that people on here think we shouldn’t comment on such a horrific display and be happy and content with the last 3 minutes......because we won.
It’s the game thread. This is where these things are brought up.
If some scoopers are absolutely thrilled regarding the end of the game......because we did enough to win.....good for you.
I’m thinking of future teams who are much better than Butler on the press. Needs to be cleaned up. That’s all.

The press break wasn't good.   Joey is a large part of the regular press break.   Joey had fouled out.   Ergo, we did not have our regular press break group out there against a very aggressive press.    Ergo, it did not flow.    IMO, it was a good learning experience.   And it gave them a marker of what needs worked on.      In a perfect world, I would want Joey, Sam, Markus, Bailey, and Chartouny in to break the press.   All handle the ball, all hit free throws, enough size to be able to throw over the top sometimes.   Chartouny had played next to nothing all game and Joey fouled out.    Sacar didn't look good.

MU won by 10, Wojo has something to work on, fans have something to kvetch about.

You absolutely should comment on bad plays like the press break at the end. Why they kept tossing it to our worst FT shooter in the corner I will never understand. It was driving me batty. If this thread was a mix of comments on good plays and bad ones I would probably still participate. Lately, it has morphed into almost all comments on bad plays with the occasional complaint about the refs . That's not a bad thing, it just is.
