all I'm saying is i'm sure they lost a lot of viewers.  if that's what they want, fine.  but regardless of how tough, hell make em run the course and turn it into speed golf.  whenever tiger missed the cut, which wasn't too often, they lost viewers.

in women's, there is much less room for error.  how many golfers does women's have that average fan can identify with?  well, it just dwindled by about 10 and now you have slap shot Sally in contention

I watched Lucas Glover win a US Open and Martin Kaymer win one by 7 strokes.  If people don’t want to watch, people don’t want to watch.

Slap Shot Sally can kick your rear end on the course and the average schmo bellyaching about who is in contention.  Watching them handle the pressure and the course is riveting to me.

I don’t disagree with the larger point, that the USGA would love Nelly and Rose Zhang in contention on Sunday.  But that’s golf.  And sports.

This week's winner will have earned it.  IMO, winning a battle of attrition is more interesting than winning a birdie fest.

Correct.  And if this was the men, they’d be on TV crying the blues

come on sally, that's my schtick...oh!  you meant me??

gee, how can I get to be as smart as you guys, you know, the ones who voted for a brain dead goof who trashed everything good within about 72 hours and turned out system into a gestapo...yeah, you guys are just so far ahead of many of us.  btw, that sucking sound you hear is that of money flying over to the "convicted felon"

My life is significantly better than it was four years ago. Financially more secure. Most importantly there was a an administration in place that helped with the roll out of a highly successful vaccine so less people are dying.

I’ll easily sign up for four more years of that rather than the four years prior. Especially now that the President from back then is now a  convicted felon.

Pretty easy and rational decision if you ask me.

not so sure the course was set up very well with a cut line of 8 over and eliminating 8-10 of the top golfers in the world.  seeing a few top 10" miss the cut is one thing...this course got into a lot of heads

yes, we all like to see challenges, but I don't think this is going to be good for business nor an accurate look at some of the best golfers in the world.  some lucky soul will win this thing and probably very little to be seen thereafter

Better this than needing to shoot -20 to have any chance at a major title. What an embarrassment that was.

So pretty soon you'll be posting in rambling nonsense entirely in lower case letters?

Not really how baseball works.
I get what you are saying (even the bad teams win 30% of the time), but it is actually ok to underestimate the Sox. The Sox starting catcher is batting .079  :o

I was shocked how easily Jason Kidd outsmarted Chris Finch.  after watching the wolves dispatch the nuggets, I thought that was a team to beat...now I think the Celtics have their work cut out for themselves and this is going to be a war.

whoever can stay the most healthy will win.  lively's going to need a helmet to play.  otherwise in a VERY physical game with very few players fouling out of this game resembling rugby and lacrosse, Boston may have to unleash their secret weapon, nesmias queta at 7'/250lbs.
