Murray State is playing well, but they are also being allowed to bang and hand check on D, while MU is getting called for ticky tack fouls. Hope the refs call it better the 2nd half.

MU has 8 turnovers and 2 assists.

Shooting 5 for 15 from three.

Morant has four turnovers, but dishing to wide open players for threes has been the demise. That can't keep going.

Agreed. There are so many timeouts and stoppages in these games. There is no reason a starter can't play heavy minutes unless he's in foul trouble.

Murray St is shooting 72.7% from 3. If they keep that rate up, obviously MU won't win. Brown is 4 of 4, and also as 2 fouls. MU has to figure out a way to go at him early in the second half.

Can’t call a timeout there, already used one early in the half. Bailey should have recognized the clock.

Biggest disappointment to me by FAR has been Sacar. He’s literally asleep. Shots are way off. Fumbling the ball on simple passes. Just brutal and playing with no edge

Wojo...you wanna win the game, then go to a zone for a bit. Keep Howard on the floor and out of foul trouble and stop Ja's penetration. But you're from Duke and won't change...forgot.

Last year we went zone and won some huge games at the end of the year. Not saying you play it all the time but mixing it up can stop their flow.

If we had a real point guard this game would be a lot different. Ja has 8 assists and can hit the 3. MU has 2 assists and can't put the ball in the ocean. It will take a miracle for us to pull this one out.

Bonus question: how many phantom fouls will the refs call on us in the 2nd half?

I absolutely agree. Our coach is just as frantic as the rest of the team. The "play angry" speech was completely misguided and I don't think it put us in the right frame of mind for this game at all.
