Title: City of Palms-Jumail Jones and Kyle Anderson
Post by: mj2345 on December 20, 2009, 08:35:11 PM
Hey Guys,

Covering the City of Palms Tourney in Ft. Myers this week.  Jumail Jones was a showstopper going off for 32 points and hitting from everywhere.  He is going to look great in the blue and gold.  Kyle Anderson (2012) also lists Marquette. He is a 6-7 pg and is quite saavy for a soph in high school.

Read the player evals.

Both recruits list Georgetown on their lists.

They are both at City of Palms.

Check out their Player Evaluations.

Thanks for the evals (although his name is Jamail - looks correct in the evals, but not in your post on this site).  BTW, do you know why Winter Park automatically goes to the winners bracket and Findlay to the consolation bracket?  I hear Tubby is down there - Gophers could really use Devoe's brother.

Tubby is at my hotel.  Trying to lock up Corey Joseph.

The reason Winter Park moves on is because Findlay isnt recognized by California teams and therefore can't play against Westchester.  It was a cheesy play by Westchester and it was too late for Findlay to pull out.

We will probably end up with the 5'9" guy listed in the evals--he will be Acker's replacement.

Re: Kyle - at 6'7" he'd have to play inside and would probably quit after 10 games.

No. I think Buzz has learned his lesson and will from now on run the offense through whatever freshman has an ass for a father.
