The 2nd half defense was amazingly bad yesterday, but was it a blip or a sign of things to come?

Big fan of this article. While we've been far from a lock down defense so far this season, we've seemingly improved in a lot of the problem areas from last year. We need a few more data points before we can start drawing conclusions about how good, bad, or mediocre our defense is this year.
