Both Gary Williams and Bruce Weber have had their down periods in recruiting. Maybe they just targeted the wrong players. Maybe a key recruit got them going again. Recruiting is complex. We lose Butler, Buyckes and Fulce. One sure starter and two others that will play significantly. We are adding Anderson, Wilson and Singleton. Add to this a year of experience to the returning players and we are a better team next year than we are this year. Fans need to be paitent.

I doubt that Buzz and his staff even have time to think twice about recruits that they lost, especially this time of year.  Coaching the team up and preparing them for the upcoming season is probably occupying most of the coaching staff's time these days.

You win some, you lose some.  Buzz will fill out the 2011 class...he's done it every other year he's been here thus far.  Recruiting talent is not something that I worry about with Buzz, he's done a pretty solid job of that in his time here.  I will give him the benefit of the doubt until I see some reason to believe otherwise.

Recruiting is a numbers game.

How many schools tried to recruit those guys?  If Buzz continues to get down to the top 2 or 3 with players at this level, he will start to bring those top level guys to MU.

Keep on trying Buzz.

Gary Williams had a rough patch because he got lazy.  He lost out on a lot of DC/VA/MD talent in the last 5 years.

Lazy, as in he had to stop cheating and work to get recruits?
