Butler Expansion
« on: June 12, 2017, 12:56:55 PM »
Feel free to move to the Superbar if more appropriate, but I thought this was a very interesting quote from Butler's president about the acquisition of the adjacent Christian Theological Seminary campus:

Quote
“Butler is on this national recognition path,” he explained. “The move to the Big East was not just about basketball, but how you play in the same space as a Georgetown or a Villanova."

Hell... while they're at it, why not buy Christel's property as well?  With just a few renovations, they could probably convert the home into a student housing complex that Millenials finally won't complain about.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

MU should have bought Concordia when they evacuated.  It would have been Langdon St. on steroids.

Isn't that about 15-20 blocks? That's too far away from campus.

It was between 31st and 33rd street and State and Highland.  Pretty sketchy area, even back in the 80's when they moved.
Have some patience, FFS.
