MU hoops was only just above the threshold, and lower than UW, I believe.

Are you thinking of the APR? If so, the reason MU's is so low is because we've had quite a few transfers over the past 3-4 years. We loose points for each transfer and we loose an additional point if that transfer leaves before officially becoming academically eligible for that semester. (Ol' Niv really hurt us, he transferred before he became eligible so he cost the program 2 points)
As far as the guys who stay with the program for their entire collegiate career we've had the last 21 graduate...pretty good I think especially in today's college landscape.

Because of this we were close to the limit. I think that we are much better than Cincinnati who lost a scholarship, yet by the APR we are very close. This does not make sense to me.

Our transfer situation is the same as every school in the NCAA, according to some on this board.
Incidentally, can we expect another exodus at the end of the academic year?

Actually, under the new APR the transfers aren't as big a punishment as they were in the past. If a kid stays a semester, 2, 3...you get partial credit for each semester they are there and complete. In the old days it was an all of nothing proposition. The new system is much fairer.
32% of DI athletes transfer each year. It's part of the deal in today's world.
PRN...yes, I suspect one individual will not be playing for MU next year.

The 21 of 21 are players that stayed at MU and completed their playing eligibility...the Cordell Henry's, Nnamakas, Wardles, etc of the world. In other words, guys that have completed their eligibility aren't out there doing nothing, they are completing their degrees.
