So far, I'd say you're spot on. I can see an argument for Derrick Wilson being a little higher because he's our only backup point guard, but because Vander or Todd can play the point as well, you're probably right in putting him at #9.

I would be very surprised, if Ferguson is going to get more time than Thomas. I had to laugh at Derrick Wilson needing to be more consistant offensively. He was our most consistant offensive player. You could count on him not taking a shot almost every game.

Welcome slack.  I gave thought about shooting holes in your analysis simply because you are a 'new guy' but in fact I think it to be quite good.  When I first saw Chris at #7 I thought it too low but upon further reflection that makes sense, even in his role as a starter.

I'll propose one change... Gardner at #3 with Lockett/Blue sliding down one notch each.  My gut tells me the big fella is going to account for a bunch of points and offensive rebounds (while standing flat on the floor) and is really the only 'big' who can effectively fill that role.  I still put him behind JWill and JC as they represent our best player potentially and our floor captain that 'stirs the drink' while getting 34-35 minutes a game.

What's exciting to me is that we have no less than 7 full fledged NCAA High D1 starters and one or two beyond that who are absolutely capable at that level. Depth over a long season comes in handy.

Seeing Ferguson around campus I agree with Bilsu. Ferguson is not physically ready for Big East basketball. He is a skinny kid. He needs to bulk up before he will be able to contribute much. One thing that interests me is the number of walk-ons this year. One of them will get some playing time. I think that will be Jake, and I think Jake will get more than Jamal.
