I think I remember buzz with his Virginia Tech pin on during the tournament interview.

Also thought it would be great if they video conferences Shaka on one of these halftime shows.

The university will hold a press conference on Monday, March 29 (time TBA) at the Al McGuire Center, 770 N. 12th St., to formally introduce Smart to the Marquette community. In accordance with the university's COVID-19 protocols, there will be limited attendance and socially distanced seating will be utilized.  The press conference will also be streamed live on GoMarquette.com.

I was thinking Shaka might be on CBS in MU gear over this weekend.

To all of those posters that said they had a reliable source, and it was Dennis Gates, or Porter Moser, two thoughts; get rid of your source, they are full of crap, or admit you were the source and you were just guessing!

MUBB is back, and the program which was wallowing in BB irrelevancy just got immediately relevant. The other top tier BE programs just heard a big dog barking in Milwaukee, and they now know it ain’t the same from Shaka’s hiring going forward. He can coach and he can recruit and MUBB is on a completely different level of playing BB!

To the MU Adm...cudos, because you confirmed the old adage, that you can learn from your mistakes!

Ring out ahoya!

Remember that well. It pissed me off.

Anybody remember the picture of Scott Monarch being posted alongside Buzz's bio on the VT website?  They picked the wrong bald guy and got roasted on Twitter.

So Shaka won't be able to run a full court press.
