I will be unable to watch the game tonight.  Natter among yourselves.

Feels like we've played K State like 6 of the past 8 years.

Love these 8pm tips.  Plenty of time to get good and boozed up before the game.
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

If you feel ambitious during the work from home, those 4pm coffees don't have to be coffees (frenchpress or pour over) if you want to get ready for a 6pm game.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

I heard Kansas State fans only drink coffee from K-cups or Nespresso pods.

That's really good. I expect it will be unnecessary, but still really good.

OMG, Tower!

Don’t be doing me that way.

I saw the thread title and thought it was your typical recap and I had missed the GD game.

I actually enjoy these kinds of games. K-State was basically a Depaul clone (ability-wise), so we should win games like this. Even on the road.

But there are a lot of things where you can see change and growth. Rather than list several, I will just list one thing that popped for me.

Kam Jones. Actively looking for his shot and is starting to wait for a pass to get a good shot rather than dribbling until he gets a slight opening. The biggest thing, though, was at the end of the game when K-State had to foul. Before the bonus, Kolek rushed to an open spot to get the inbounds pass twice in a row. Once they got to the bonus, Kolek kind of held back and it was Kam who really wanted the ball for the biggest FTs of the game.

Yeah, he missed the front end - but what I like is that he wanted to be the guy when the game was on the line.

I am assuming Shaka drew the last inbounds play up to get Kam the ball. Maybe as a result of draining the 3. Personally, I would have wanted Kolek to get it to give him a little confidence.
