Situational Awareness
« on: January 24, 2020, 10:52:51 PM »
After Bailey fouled Baldwin with 20 seconds left in regulation, Butler hit one of two free throws.  Wojo had a timeout in his pocket but decided to let the team play.  I can't blame him after the previous two timeouts produced nothing.  Markus hoisted a long, ill advised three with 10 seconds left on the clock down 69-68.  The team didn't need a three pointer at that moment in the game, especially from way beyond the arc.  The situational awareness in that instance was severely lacking.  It was, simply put, low IQ basketball.  That's the maddening part of Markus Howard's otherwise incredibly gifted game.

That’s a true WTF moment. Call the TO there. Markus may be concussed after getting swatted to the floor on two straight possessions without a call.
